Rev Dr. Ali ABY Muhammed is a Roxbury-based community leader, cultural historian, and founder of Visit Nubian Square Tours, established in 2020 to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich history, culture, and legacy of Nubian Square and the greater Roxbury community.

Through walking tours, storytelling, public programs, and community partnerships, Dr. Muhammed highlights Roxbury’s historic landmarks, notable leaders, Black heritage, and ongoing cultural contributions. He is also the founder of MassRox250, a community-centered initiative created to honor Roxbury’s role in Massachusetts history while uplifting local voices, historic sites, and cultural memory.

Dr. Muhammed is a member of Massachusetts Business Front Door and is also recognized as a WMBE business leader, continuing his commitment to economic development, cultural tourism, community education, and Black excellence in Roxbury.
