Roxbury Emergency Ambassador Network

The Roxbury Emergency Ambassador Network is a community-based preparedness and response initiative led by CHW Workforce Development, Inc. The program is designed to help Roxbury residents stay informed, connected, and ready before, during, and after emergencies.

Through neighborhood outreach, emergency preparedness education, resource coordination, and community support, Roxbury Emergency Ambassadors serve as trusted connectors between residents, families, local partners, and emergency response resources.

What Ambassadors Do

Helping share important updates, preparedness information, and available resources with residents and families.Supporting community care by checking in on elders, families, individuals with disabilities, and residents who may need additional assistance.

Our Focus

Encouraging households to create emergency plans, build go-bags, and understand how to stay safe during emergencies.Helping connect residents to food access, shelter information, medical support, water distribution, and other community resources.
